	SBN Catalogue
	Collective catalogue of the National Library Service, which covers over 2300 public libraries belonging to the State, local bodies, universities, public and private institutions.

	Historical Catalogues
	Collection of about 200 historical digitized catalogues in volume or card form. The card catalogues in particular can be alphabetical (by title or author), topographical, systematic or mixed. The collection includes general catalogues as well as catalogues for special materials such as manuscripts, maps, prints, written music and particular collections.

	Special catalogues
	These include the following databases: Census of Italian 16th century editions (EDIT16); Bibliographical data on manuscripts kept in Italian libraries and written in the Latin alphabet (BibMan); Census of manuscripts held in Italian libraries (Manus); Census project, description and digital reproduction of Greek palimpsests (Rinascimento Virtuale).

	Other Italian and foreign catalogues
	Allows access both to predefined Italian and foreign catalogues (conforming to the Z39.50 standard).

	Loan
	Through this service, users can obtain document reproductions or interlibrary loans.

	Search within the digital documents provided by the Institutions taking part in the Internet Culturale.

	The digital collections repertory describes collections available in libraries and in other cultural institutions in Italy which have already been digitized or are going to be digitized. The aim is to identify and locate digital collections available and, if possible, to consult them directly online.
